NATURAL ROCK BATHTUB MANACOR

€5,989.50

Natural Stone Bathtub

Freestanding bathtub handcrafted and sculpted from a large natural rock, preserving its original exterior texture and completely organic forms.

Manacor combines a raw, primitive stone exterior in shades of gray, sand and earth with a carefully hollowed and polished interior featuring a darker, smooth and glossy surface.

Its irregular edges and absence of uniform geometry reveal the natural origin of the stone and transform the bathtub into an authentic sculptural piece.

Each Manacor bathtub features its own unique shapes, tones and textures, making every piece truly one of a kind.

Description

Manacor is created from a large natural rock whose original shape determines much of the bathtub’s final design. The handcrafted process does not aim to completely transform the stone, but rather to work only where necessary to turn it into a functional piece while preserving all the strength and authenticity of the material.

The exterior deliberately retains its rough surface. Reliefs, small cavities, variations in tone and natural markings remain visible, revealing an irregular combination of gray, beige, sand and earthy nuances. This texture contrasts with the smoothness of other elements commonly found in the bathroom and enhances its extraordinary visual presence.

Inside, the stone has been carefully hollowed and polished to reveal a completely different surface. The tones become deeper and darker, while the finish takes on a smooth, slightly glossy appearance that enhances the natural mineral nuances of the rock.

One of Manacor’s most distinctive features is its irregular profile. The rim retains different heights and gentle undulations determined by the stone’s original formation, deliberately avoiding the geometric perfection of an industrially manufactured bathtub.
