Description

Aron represents one of the most striking expressions of petrified wood. Its origins lie in ancient tree trunks that, through a natural mineralization process lasting millions of years, have preserved part of the wood’s original structure and patterns while its organic matter was gradually replaced by minerals.

The exterior deliberately retains a more natural and primitive appearance. Cream, beige, sand and gray tones extend across numerous layers, cracks and horizontal lines that recall the original structure of the trunk. The irregular edges further enhance the sensation of being in the presence of an authentic natural formation.

The interior offers a spectacular contrast. The hollowing and polishing process reveals a much more intense surface, displaying grain and patterns in shades of brown, honey, ochre and reddish tones, along with darker areas. The polished finish enhances the depth of these mineral formations and allows every variation in color to be appreciated.

Its substantial volume and proportions give Aron a strong architectural presence. It does not seek perfectly uniform industrial geometry: subtle differences in thickness, shape and texture are precisely the characteristics that reveal its natural origin.
