WILD LAVA STONE SINK GEAR

The uniqueness of Gear comes from the natural formation of lava stone itself. The cooling and solidification of volcanic material creates an extremely distinctive structure, with pores, cavities, reliefs and variations in tone that make every piece of rock different.

In this sink, the handcrafted process aims to preserve much of this original appearance. The minimally refined exterior retains its intense, rugged texture, while the interior is carefully worked and polished to create a smoother, more functional surface. This contrast between raw material and a refined surface is a defining feature of the Gear design.

Cavities, irregularities, colour variations and differences in texture are natural characteristics of the stone and should not be considered defects. These particularities are precisely what make each sink unique, meaning that the piece received may differ from other units of the same model.

Thanks to its sculptural character, Gear can become the focal point of the bathroom and combines particularly well with wood, microcement, travertine, natural stone and mineral finishes. Its aesthetic is perfectly suited to Mediterranean, contemporary, rustic and wabi-sabi interiors.
