Description
Andrew represents a sculptural interpretation of the pedestal sink, where natural Panca Warna stone becomes the central element of the design. Its appearance originates from a block of rock whose original structure is largely preserved, respecting the irregularities and distinctive characteristics the material has acquired throughout its geological formation.
The exterior features a richly textured surface, formed by small reliefs, cavities, cracks and varying mineral concentrations. Brown and ochre tones blend with golden, beige and reddish nuances, creating an irregular combination of colors that reflects the characteristic richness of Panca Warna stone and adds extraordinary visual depth.
Andrew’s silhouette is characterized by its vertical proportions and asymmetrical geometry. The upper section features a broad, robust surface, while the body gradually narrows towards an irregular base. This distinctive structure reinforces its monolithic appearance and allows the natural strength of the stone to be appreciated from different perspectives.
In contrast to the exterior, the interior has been carefully handcrafted to achieve a smooth, polished surface. This process reveals a combination of gray, bluish and dark tones, with mineral patterns that gain greater depth as light falls across them. The transition between the two surfaces reveals two completely different expressions of the same Panca Warna stone.
