Description
This river stone pedestal sink stands out for a particularly distinctive feature: the combination of a partially polished exterior surface with another area that retains the original appearance of the rock. This contrast in finishes reveals the richness of the material and transforms an apparently simple shape into a piece full of character.
The polished section features gray and bluish tones, with a smoother, more uniform surface that reveals subtle nuances and mineral formations. As this finish extends across the body of the sink, it gradually gives way to a more natural-looking surface, where shades of beige, sand, ochre and brown blend with small irregularities and variations in texture.
The transition between these two areas does not follow a perfectly defined geometric line. The different colors and finishes meet irregularly, creating a visual effect that evokes the natural transformation of stone and adds depth to the overall design.
Its silhouette features a wide upper opening and a body that gently narrows towards the base. This balanced geometry contrasts with the rich color variations of the surface, allowing the material itself to become the main decorative feature.
The interior has been handcrafted to create a smooth, polished basin suitable for everyday use. The solidity of natural stone provides a strong and durable structure, while its freestanding design allows the sink to be installed directly on the floor without the need for a bathroom vanity.
