Wooden Bench

Handcrafted bench made from solid teak wood, characterized by its spectacular organic shapes and a structure that preserves much of the wood’s natural appearance.

Nicole stands out for its curves, cavities, knots and irregular forms, which extend across both the seat and backrest, making the wood itself the main element of the design.

Its warm brown and honey tones contrast with lighter and darker areas, creating a sculptural piece with a striking visual presence.

Each Nicole bench features different shapes, grain patterns and natural irregularities, making it a unique piece, particularly suited to interiors where furniture takes on a truly decorative character.

Description

Nicole is born from the natural structure of teak wood itself. Rather than concealing its original forms, the craftsmanship makes use of its curves, branches, cavities and variations in thickness to create a bench with a distinctly sculptural presence.

The backrest is one of its most characteristic features. The wood forms an irregular composition of open spaces, knots and sinuous natural lines reminiscent of the structure of a root. This complex geometry allows light to pass through different areas and visually changes depending on the angle from which it is viewed.

The generous seat also retains an organic profile, with irregular edges and subtle variations in height that respect the natural shape of the teak. The polished finish clearly reveals the grain and numerous variations in color present throughout the wood.

Honey tones, warm browns, golden areas and noticeably darker sections blend together within the same piece. These variations, together with knots, cavities and small natural irregularities, form part of its identity and ensure that no two benches are exactly alike.

Thanks to its dimensions and strong personality, Nicole works both as a seat and as a decorative piece. It can become the focal point of a living room, spacious entrance hall, bedroom or a Mediterranean, wabi-sabi or contemporary tropical-inspired interior.
